HandsOn San Diego Blanket-Tying Event

In partnership with HandsOn San Diego, we invite you to join us for a fun and meaningful event--making fleece blankets for cancer patients! Cancer patients will be given the blankets at no cost to use during chemotherapy treatments (room temperatures are typically on the cooler side at medical centers) and at home as a source of comfort.
Our group of volunteers will be making hand-tied fleece blankets that are easily put together--tying double knots around 2-layer sides that are pre-cut. Once you complete one, you can move on to another. At the end of the evening, you will be able to see how much was accomplished by the stacks of blankets set aside.
We'll have the mezzanine level set aside for us at AleSmith Brewing Company. Age limit: Children are able to volunteer with parental supervision. Great for teens, especially if they bring a friend(s). Please invite your family, friends and any organizations that may be interested in participating. Just one of the groups we have invited is the Harvard Club of San Diego.
